Earlier on, my practice was in Social Work which I did for several years. I decided this wasn’t quite the right fit for me and returned to school to get my Masters degree in Counselling Psychology.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor I (R.C.C.) I have been in practice for over 30 years. I have also worked with Employee and Family Assistance (EFAP) companies; in the addictions field; organizational consulting; and developed and facilitated workshops on many topics such as depression, parenting, transitions, and the sandwich generation. I have also taught adult education courses at Vancouver Island University, and have had an extensive career in Account Management in a Canadian EFAP firm.
I love working with people to help them find different ways to cope, become more resilient, and to find more joy in their lives.
